The Basics of Bike Repair
(or the repair of any other device for that matter...)

The Basics:

  1. Work Clean.

  2. Plan the job beforehand. Get any tools or new parts you know you will need ahead of time.

  3. Be patient - work like a professional. Don't force anything that shouldn't be.

  4. Do the work when you have some time, not just before a ride.

  5. Ride your bike cautiously after you have worked on it. Check it out carefully until you are confident it is right.

  6. Take it to the shop if you don't know what you are doing.

  7. Ask questions. Wait for good answers and take notes before you proceed.

  8. Don't throw this packaging away. Refer to it as you have questions regarding this product.
